The crew for Boston Photo Mob’s Help Portrait 2009 I spent a long fulfilling day on 12/12 with a group of photographers, volunteers, and stylist taking photos of some folks in less fortunate circumstances. All of us are so glad to have been able to take something we do well and create some memories for them.I posted a behind the scenes slide show in the gallery chronicling our Help Portrait day at the Germaine Lawrence School where we took photos of 50 troubled young women. Obviously in order to protect their privacy, the wonderful photos we produced are for them and are not for public consumption. Anyways that wasn’t the idea.My biggest realization is that while we were working hard here in Boston, there were so many more doing the same and having similar experiences (and it was all over the world). There’s a great interconnectedness to the whole affair. This event makes my very short all-time great memories list - unbelievable rush and an amazing day. I’m just so glad to have been a part of this.
